Our Mission

Her Summer Beauty is an independent beauty publication founded in 2026 with one simple goal: to help you get the perfect sun-kissed glow — without the UV damage. We believe that everyone deserves to feel confident and radiant in their own skin, and that a beautiful tan shouldn't come at the cost of your long-term skin health.

We publish in-depth self-tanning guides, honest product reviews, and expert beauty tips designed to cut through the noise. The self-tanning market is crowded, and not every product lives up to its promises. That's where we come in. We do the research, the testing, and the comparing so you don't have to.

How We Test & Review

We take our reviews seriously. Every self-tanner we recommend has been tested firsthand — on real skin, in real conditions, over multiple weeks. We evaluate products on application ease, color payoff, fade quality, scent, ingredients, and overall value. We don't do quick first-impression reviews. We live with these products through a full wear cycle before forming our opinions.

Our testing methodology includes applying each product at least three separate times across different skin areas and conditions. We photograph the development process, monitor how the tan fades over 5 to 7 days, and note everything from texture and drying time to how well the color holds up after showers and workouts. When we say a product delivers a natural, streak-free tan, it's because we've verified it ourselves.
